Laxmi, the only daughter of Jagirdar Raghupati Sahai, married a farmer, Ram, much against the wishes of her father. Jagirdar Sahai decided he will never see her face again. Jagirdar Sahai wants to make Monty, the son of his junior dewan Shri Nath, his heir. Ram's brother Laxman persuades Jagirdar Sahai not to be unjust to his grandson. Emotionally moved, Jagirdar Sahai asks his senior dewan to go and bring to him his daughter Laxmi and grandson Vijay from the village.

Seeing his dreams being shattered, Shri Nath unleashes and orgy of killings in the village. The senior dewan when goes to the village as well as Ram are killed. Laxman is arrested by the police and jailed.

Twenty years elapse....

Rajesh is a judo-karate champion. Lata, the daughter of late senior dewan, loves him. But Rosy, Rajesh's secretary is a hurdle for Lata; she also loves Rajesh.

In a fight one day, a young man, Anand, dies at the hands of Rajesh. When Rajesh learns that Anand wanted to win the prize money for the treatment of his sick mother and marriage of his sister, he gives up the murderous profession. He decides to look after Anand's mother and sister and brings them to city.

Lata and Rajesh comspire to protect and save the ailing Jagirdar Sahai. Rajesh agrees to impersonate Vijay, the real heir.

Getting news of the unexpected arrival of Raghupati's heir, Shri Nath and Monty also engage Rajesh to kill the heir and instal himself as the heir. They also ask him to kill Jagirdar Sahai and then transfer all his wealth and property in their name. Rajesh agrees. He is accepted as the heir by all. Later, one day, Rajesh pushes down Jagidar Sahai from a hill top. Now, Shri Nath and Monty want Rajesh to sign the transfer documents. But Rajesh plays a master stroke. He refuses and says that he is the Jagirdar now. At this time, Jagirdar Sahai reappears. At the same time, Laxman also comes out of jail. When he comes to know that Rajesh is an impersonator of his nephew, Vijay, there is a fierce fight between the two. Laxman comes to know that Rajesh is the real heir Vijay. Both, uncle Laxman and nephew (Rajesh), unite to wipe out the villains.
